TIER 1 (G) to ILR finances

Post by victory1234 » Fri May 16, 2014 5:32 pm

Hi ,

Please I need your help and advise.

I am currently in the Uk under tier1(G) and I'm due to apply for ILR any time from 20 July 2014 as i came in initially in 20 July 2009. My current visa expires in October.

My question is in relation to my finance. I have a overdraft facility on my current account which also happens to be my salary account, I have been using this facility for over 7months now but I'm worried they may want to see only credit balances.

Should this really be a concern to them?Surely they only need to see my salary payments like when I applied for my extension.

Please note I am employed full time and my annual salary is in excess of the required amount over the 12months period.

I look forward to hearing your opinions shortly. Thank you

Thanks Amber for your response.

Please I am still a bit concerned just spoke with some who just got her ILR and she insists it's required to have maintenance funds for 90days. From looking at the form and reading the forum . This is not a requirement as far as I can tell .

In the finance section, the evidence I have is
Me: 2000 per month
Spouse :700 per month
Rent: 1150
2 kids.

We both have payslips and statements to corroborate the amounts, although they may have debit balances due to overdrafts.
Do I include the full rent or split in half and say spouse pays half. In reality we balance things out as required.

Will this be enough to prove I can support my family? I don't have any savings to include. Will this still be a non issue.

Apologies if the question is repetitive , I just want to be sure before I make the application early.

Thank you.
