Proving Indian Degree in English

Post by Calbij » Tue May 20, 2014 2:32 pm

Hi,

I'm on Tier 2 and planning to apply for ILR next month but I'm really confused looking at the application form and other links regarding degree in English. I have done my degree from India and I have proved my degree taught in English thrice before applying for my Tier 2 renewals. Do I still need to prove it from UK NARIC or from some points calculator. I even want to apply ILR for my wife along with me and does she require her degree to be certified from UK NARIC or any points calculator.

Both mine and my wife's universities are listed in the points calculator as well.

Can anyone please let me know whether me and my wife should get the degree certificate from UK NARIC or should we go for English Test.

Regards,
Calbij

Points based calculator printout should suffice but to be on the safer side UK naric English Assessment letter would be helpful .

Thanks for the reply Sudeepss..
But should I take the certificate from UK NARIC both for me and my wife?
Also UK NARIC is giving C1 Certificate which is fine as it is higher than the required B1

Thanks in advance

may be for your wife as the Points based calculator does not hold good for her and for you all the points do match.
