Hi! i would much appreciate quick response. So here's my struggle... University asked my to send them my passport to complete my student finance application. im not sure if they would send my passport back before the holidays starts, on which im planning to visit poland. my question is, if i could fly to poland with only provisional driving licence with me, as i know they let my brother fly with his ID only. i just want to know if the provisional driving licence would be any different.

A UK provisional license (actually - ANY UK license) is not considered identification.

You need your passport.

If your brother flew on his ID he must have used an EU identity card.
