Domestic worker pre 05/04/2012 Dependent visa

Hi,

A friend of mine is on domestic worker visa since Oct,2010 .he will be eligible for ILR on Oct, 2015. he want to bring his dependent to the UK. I searched Gov.UK but could not find the information related to Domestic worker dependent visa. I mean when can dependent apply for ILR? the Gov.UK website say that the dependent can apply for ILR at the same time as main applicant. he is planning for apply for their dependent in June and hopefully they will come in Oct this year.

the guidance notes does not say anything about time period for dependent visa. it says they can apply at the same time as main applicant.

Leave to enter should be granted under 194 (click).

Dependants must have entry clearance. They must be admitted for a period in line with the
domestic worker on:

 code 1 (if the main applicant’s employer is not a visitor), or
 code 3 (if the main applicant’s employer is a visitor).

For ILR then:

Should be able to settle with main applicant insofar as they meet the requirements of 196D (click) which includes B1 English and LIUK for adults.

It means the dependent will be able to apply for ILR at same time as main applicant. In this case the dependent do not need to be here in UK for certain period of time like in other categories in which dependent can apply after staying here for 5 or 2 years.

Am I right?
