Thanks. Indeed it was. My ILR took 6 months even though it was a simple case. (Could not get an appointment for the same day service). Hence, I was expecting it to take another 6 months. But I am surprised.

I see you applied a day earlier than me, so expect to jump up and down in happiness soon.

Called up Camden Council and they have not received my paperwork yet.

I don't know anymore.' Just come of the phone with HO and the guy was really polite but said that my case was awaiting allocation. So still at square one

I just got off the phone from HO & they said that the decision pack was dispatched yesterday but it is 2nd class mail so I must allow 2 WEEKS for delivery....seriously 2 weeks??????? 2nd class mail is 2 days, not 2 weeks.

Anyway they obviously wouldn't indicate which way the decision went...so I know I will just carry on waiting for the elusive brown envelope in the post every day. I am hoping Saturday but who knows???????????

My Friend with his wife applied by post on 25th March, still he haven't heard any thing.

I'm thinking there is a number to call and ask for update.

Till ILR you can't ask any update - where at that time you do need to know update.

Well to be honest I'm not anxiously waiting for the Envelop as I can see on forum some one wrote the average time of getting approval is 51 days . So I'm waiting for 51 days to pass then may be I start waiting.

But on the this form APRIL 2014 one I can see people are getting who ever applied in April.

That is good news Wrightfamily...I believe in Royal mail doing a better job so you should have it by tomorrow (if HO had dispatched yesterday)

Called up Home office (number is 03001232253 Option 1). Got through in 30 seconds. The call center agent confirmed that a decision was made on the 20th of May and a letter was posted out on 21st. Postman did not deliver the famous brown envelope today so hopefully tomorrow or it will be next week
