Work Permit for Canadian Employer in Belgium

Post by annied » Wed May 28, 2014 2:20 pm

Hello,

One of my employees announced us that he is moving with his spouse to Belgium. We decided to let him work from home while there. He will still travel to Canada on a very occasional basis (maybe a total of 2 months a year). They are planning to stay there a minimum of 3 years.

What type of visa do I need to obtain him ? What are the steps and how long could it be? Can he still work for the Canadian entity or he will need to work for a different one ? We have an office in the Netherlands.

Does anyone have a consultant to refer me too that can help me deal with that issue?

Thank you!
