spouse visa? with youth mobility visa?

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum so I apologize if this subject has been addressed before.

I am a dual citizen of USA/Australia and my wife is a UK citizen. We have been in a relationship for 7 years and married for 6 months. We have been in Australia for the whole relationship. We have decided that the best place for us to live and have kids would be the UK as that is the only place where either of us have any family.

Now we will be going to the UK with just our savings and hope to find jobs when we get there. We have family to stay with. I know that due to the fact that my wife does not have a job lined up and we do not have enough savings to meet the required threshold that I can't go straight onto a spouse visa. My question is, can I go on the youth mobility visa and apply for the spouse visa from inside the UK once it expires?

How old are you? You can't switch as far as I know from YMS to anything in-country....
