I have applied on 10th of April, fee deducted on 25th April. Received acknowldgment and payment slip to pay £32 more which deducted on 14th May from my account. I called them today to get an update got a shocking news that my case is waiting for allocation. i dont know if we should start counting the days when the fee have deducted or when the 2nd fee.. ?

I applied on 3 April called them today same reply in process will take upto 6 months call us back in couple of months when I asked is my case allocated to a casworker the lady replied yes it is with the case worker and the decisin may take upto 6 month's .
Are they still gona take much time as I can see people who applied after me are getting approvals lets c good news conme soon inshaAllah

For the ones that are still waiting like myself, I have been looking at the spread sheet on the previous page and I guess there is a relation between when people receive their acknowledgement to when they get their approval. Of course its not that simple but looking through the sheet there is a pattern that the later you receive the acknowledgement (if at all) the later you get your approval. Its like add 40 days to your acknowledgement and it should give you a rough idea of when you should start expecting the letter in the post. Has anyone else noticed it or is t just me hallucinating....?

For me, it is already 58 days from the acknowledgement, and counting.

"Sunface: Same here Today 29/05/2014 I called customer service and understood my application is still waiting to be allocated to case worker. Its a shock for me as I applied on 3rd April 2014 , fees was deducted by 16th April , however they sent me letter to pay extra £32 for fees increase. I did paid the £32 fees in time and it was deducted the following week.
I am left with no hope when my application will be allocated to case worker , As there is no logic in how HO process the application. Congrats to April applications who already received approval . As usual wait is the answer

Hi Guys,
We have got applicants from mid March waiting for allocation to a case worker. I applied on 27th March and last update I got was that still waiting for allocation. My fee was deducted on 3rd April.
Wait all we can do.
