Same here Don't believe a word they tell you over the phone. I called two weeks ago and was told that application is with case worker and decision is pending. called again last week and today but they said that your application is waiting to be allocated to a case worker. lol call center is a joke

Hi Guys,
We have got applicants from mid March waiting for allocation to a case worker. I applied on 27th March and last update I got was that still waiting for allocation. My fee was deducted on 3rd April.
Wait all we can do.

"Sunface: Haidi5 , I made joint application on April 3 2014, My children application got approved 8th May 2014. The criteria for approving my children nationality application was based on my application decision as required in the covering letter / rules applicable set by UKBA. I was expecting my application approval letter sent out to me with in a week. However I do not believe the HO customer care system notes that my application is not allocated to case worker . if my application is not allocated to case work then how my children joint application got approved on 8th May 2014 ? It sounds funny to me how HO case worker process the joint application. Yet they claim reasonable increase in fees every 6 months ?

After the approval letter received from HO, do I need to call to book the ceremony appointment, or the council will get notification from HO and send me the appointment letter automatically with a suggested date?

The letter of approval categorically asked me to contact the local council (HO actually stated the address and phone number of the council to contact) before 21 days to arrange the ceremony. So, when I called the council, they confirmed that my certificate is already with them.

So, don't wait ring up immediately.

One thing I noticed was that the letter mentions my full name but name at birth field is blank. Is that common? I understand they didn't ask for birth certificate so I guess they can't be sure of it.

received letter today from my council giving me my date of ceremony and congratulating me on becoming a british citizen, but not yet got the letter from immigration. i guess the use snail mail.
