Hii realized the mistake after i printed the form and went through it the second time..
now i am panicking about it of what is going to happen? is there any chance of fixing this mistake? and what is going to happen to my application? please need advice.
If you have already sent the application then best thing is to send HO a cover letter before they make any decision on you application. As I already have mentioned in post, its not just you who made mistakes in applications so dont worry but update HO.londonboi12 wrote:Same thing happened with me, I applied through representative because of problem in receiving mail at my address.
Applied through a big law firm, but the stupid solicitor has done many major mistakes,
don't know wot to do now, this silly man putting me in to risk.
Hi Searoze, Thanks for sharing your friends experience, which paper application he has over written ? the one which was submitted online ? And At which point he has sent the application, while sending the summary sheet ? or after receiving any confirmation or acknowledgement ?,searoze wrote:Hii realized the mistake after i printed the form and went through it the second time..

Dont panic. Its not just you, many ppl make same or similar mistakes.
You cannot amend the online application once submitted. I know a person who made few mistakes similar to you. Then he just over written at paper application and attached a cover letter explaining the reason of cutting. He has received hi visa with no problem at all.
So I would suggest you to amend at paper copy before you send it to UKVI and explain it in a cover letter.
I dont think your application will be invalid due to errors. But if any thing happens you can put new application using same CAS.londonboi12 wrote:I have sent the documents with covering letter explaining all errors done by my solicitor firm, as the mistakes are soo many....... that incase, if they return my application as an invalid, i am still in 28 days of not being overstay ,
My question is do i need to get a new cas ? or i can use the same cas again ?
Experts and gurus please advice me in this matter , so i get prepared in advance .
Many Thanks
