Can Tier 2 ICT (Long Term) dependent still work- latest info

Post by bertie » Wed Jun 04, 2014 9:34 am

Hi
I may be travelling to the UK soon on a Tier 2 ICT (long term). As the UKBA website has now migrated to gov.uk, I am unable to find if my wife travelling on a dependent visa can still work in the UK? Can some one point me in the right direction please?

Thanks,
-Bertie

as a PBS dependant she will be allowed to work with some exceptions. See para 37 of the policy guidance:

Thanks. Are you referring to the following on page 7? -

"Conditions of Stay
37. You will have the following conditions attached to any leave:"

This only states that she can not work as a dentis/doctor/sportsperson but is it safe to assume that she can work other profession? IT?

Many thanks,
