Dear members
I genuinely want my parents to visit me to spend time with my twin babies. They have applied in April from South Mumbai and the visa was rejected based on following reasons.
- They have shown amount Rs less than 50 K in their current account.
He is retired from the services and got own house and all the retirement maturity is maintained as Fixed Deposits which he gets monthly income from. He has provided the Fixed Deposit receipts the bank books and the property valuations papers. Unfortunately he has not maintained enough balance in their account. They have good ties in India as my sister and her family resides in India.
I am planning to re-apply for their visa. What's the best option to get money into their account?
- They can break some of the FDs and put around Rs 2 lakhs ino their account and get a letter from bank manager.
- They can have some gold which they can convert to cash and get the appropriate receipts from gold smith (I do not personally like it but want to discuss as possible option)
- Any other ways?
Please please suggest so that I can arrange it while the summer lasts.
Best regards
Yog

Hi
I have re-applied with more documents from my side,
- such as my savings more than 4K
- My parents have put their fixed deposit as cash > 3Lakh
- There was constant flow into their account which was quarterly, I explained it in a separate letter
This time round they have got the visa and they are here with me in UK.
Thanks everyone.
