Advice on EEA4 application

Post by imran1u » Fri Jun 13, 2014 8:14 pm

Hello ,

i am trying to find written documentation that its say that PR eligibility is from the day of marriage , not from the day residence card was issued.
i will be grateful if someone can send me link where it clearly say that PR eligibility is from the day of marriage.

Regards

Thanks Sheraz7,

the reason i am asking , i went to see solicitor today , she said to me that the eligibility for the PR is from date the residence card issued not from the marriage.
Actually i have 7 years on UK immigration and 3 years as family member of EEA national , in Jan 2015 it is going to be 5 year as married to EEA national , and i have already completed 10 years , don't know what to do.

Just forward her the above official link to enhance her knowledge. It totally depends on your budget and patience as if you apply now on the basis of long residence then the application will be costly and you will need LIUK test and English proficiency test. Otherwise you can wait few more months to make less expensive application without any test.
