Non-EEA wife, Holday to Turkey

Post by Graham Weifang » Wed Jun 18, 2014 10:57 am

Hi All,

My Chinese wife now has the 5 year UK residence vignette in her Chinese passport, after arriving in UK with me last year via SS. and completing EEA2 application.

We have got our Turkish visa's and have our holiday Turkish booked.

Will we expect any immigration drama, or check-in desk hassle on departing UK, or arriving back in UK some 7 days later?

GW

What hassle is it that you anticipate?

Traveling together? No drama at all! Just bring your marriage cert just in case. It will be fine!

Hi,

Yes traveling together.

So We should bring our marriage cert, as a precaution.

We don't expect ant drama or hassle, but one never knows, so I thought it a good idea to throw it open to the wider more knowledgeable folk here.

Thanks

GW
