RLMT no of days issue

Hello Moderators,

I am in need of urgent help regarding my RLMT.

My HR posted the advert on jobcentre plus on 25th May and since jobcentre plus was down, she had to dictate the job to the jobcentre call center folks. While doing this, they forgot to update the closing date even though my HR dictated the same. So she called up the next day and asked them to update the closing date to 21st June and this was done. But, the posting date changed to 26th of May because of the update. Now the closing date says 21st of June but posting date is 26th of May which makes the total job advert days to 27.

I do not want to miss the July cycle because of this one day caused by the oversight of job centre plus.

How do I handle this situation?

Nowadays, HO has become quite stringent in ensuring that employers follow the process. IMO, your HR should have called them again to get the date updated the next day itself. You had time to extend the end-date by few days if updating posting date was not possible.
Maybe your employer can call the folks again and check with them.

I am planning to ask my HR to post it for 7 more days after 21st just to be on the safer side. Hope this should be fine because my RLMT will then be in 2 phases one for 27 days and another for 7 days.

Hi Manci/Moderators,

Need your help please.

I discussed this with my HR and told her that the safest option would be to post my job advert for another 7 days as we still have time before running out of the July cycle for COS.

But she is saying that she has proof that the posting date is 25th May and amended date is 26th May and it should not be a problem when applying for COS.

Can you please advise?
