Tier 2 General Eligible for ILR

Post by vriteshku » Fri Jun 20, 2014 3:00 pm

Hi All,

I hold Tire 2 general visa for 3 years starting from 30-July-2013 to 30-July-2016 and further will be extended for another 3 years.

Will I be eligible for ILR once I complete 5 years in UK after 30-July-2018?

Further, when my dependent (Wife) will be eligible for ILR?

lots of visa rule changes for ILR so got confused.

Thanks in advance.

You will become eligible for ILR after 5 years of continuous stay in the UK as a tier-2 migrant, provided you meet the min. salary requirements, english language & life in the UK test requirements and any other requirements put forward by the home office at that point of time. Your dependents would become eligible after 5 years of continuous stay in the UK as tier-2 PBS dependent visa and also if they meet the english language & life in the UK test requirements and any other requirements put forward by the home office at that point of time.
