2 months without approvals

Post by bebo1901 » Sun Jun 22, 2014 3:20 pm

Can anyone know whether this new Minister for Justice (previously Minister for Children :D ) is gonna send out new decisions? or approximately how often decisions were sent out?

May be I am wrong, but looking at previous posts here, I see, dept starts sending letters after the ceremony, i.e. next ceremony is on 4th July.So they might be busy there. Once this is out of the way, they will start sending approval letters.
I applied for my child, in mid may and got approval on 11th Jun and certificate on 15th July. So, they are still quite fast. on the other hand, we both applied on mid April for ourselves and just got 2nd stage success last week. I think garda check takes atleast 6 weeks, where as not many checks needed for Minors application, hence quick processing.

Well, you said it yourself, they send it till 20/23th April for next ceremony that is on 4th July, I believe it could had been earlier provided Mr. Alan shatter was there. anyhow I think we should anticipate any approvals after 10th July.
this or other way, you have no option. Have you?
