Non EU Dependent Parents

Hi Everyone

one of my friend hold EU4Fam since 2011 on the basis of her EU partner and he has a child as well who is EU national, now my friend want to bring his parents to Ireland as they are financial dependent on both, her partner is exercising her Eu Treaty rights in Ireland.

so he want know that, can his partner sponsor his parents or not ? as they are not married ?
