Parents working on ICT, can kid travel with grandparents?

Post by anilisanil » Sat Jun 21, 2014 4:09 am

Hi,

My wife recently moved to the UK on ST ICT.

I too will be moving to the UK on ICT later this month.

Since we both are working from different locations in the UK, we have not yet moved our three year old daughter (she is staying with my parents). I intend to bring my daughter to the UK along with my parents.

I am applying for my parents' general visitor visa later next week. I have the following queries:
  • 1. Should I add this information in their visa application? There is a question about non dependent children travelling with the person applying.
    2. I know that there is a minor travel consent form that we need to sign. But is there anything else that I should ensure for smooth travel of my daughter and parents?
We are from India.

As far as I am aware, when you are applying for the dependent visa for your daughter, the application form will ask this questions, if the child will be travelling anyone other than either of the parent. You need to provide this information at that time.
