Visa refused because of salary

Hi all,
My application for Tier 2 Visa Extension has been refused because of inappropriate salary.
I have a right of appeal and I am wondering what is the best thing to do in such case (go for the appeal or reapply?).
Could you please let me know what you guys think about this situation?
