Family issue

Post by anoon90 » Fri Jun 27, 2014 12:01 pm

Hello,

I'm arriving to the UK on a visitors visa and my student visa is valid on the 15th-08-2014. I'm an adult female but my family is refusing this and threatening me continuously. I decided to pursue my education and fly to the UK without their knowledge. I'm however afraid that they will try to get me back and that they will harm me if I refused. Can I ask for them to be denied entry to the UK while I'm there? I'm really scared that they will harm me as they have done so several times.

No you can't have them denied entry but you can contact the police to have a restraining order made against them if you fear for your safety. You can also contact the charity Southall Black Sisters for free advice. http://www.southallblacksisters.org.uk/ ... -violence/

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
