Change of visa route from 50,000 t0 200,000

Hello everyone ,

One of my friend is on 50k visa at the moment but somehow he has got very good opportuinty of investing in a business which requires 200k in retail business . My question is is it allowed to change the route from 50k to 200k . If yes , can someone please shed some light as to how and whats the procedure ?

in my view....applicant need to reapply with 200k investment as 50k investment has some sort of strings attached to it which is not the case for 200k.

or he can continue with his 50k and work on his/her main business and invest 200k in second/other business and not use this 200k for extension.
