Citizenship status, applying over the age of 18-Query

Post by wangokid » Tue Jul 01, 2014 5:58 pm

Hello all

Wanted to pick your collective brains in regards to helping my girlfriend's citizenship status. She was born in the UK (after 1983) to Chinese nationals who granted ILR after her birth. However neither applied citizenship status for her or her siblings so now they are in limbo in regards to their citizenship status.

She doesn't meet the stateless requirements due to when she was born.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Did she spend her first 10 years in the UK?

Yep, she was born here and has never been abroad. I was confused as to whether she had to fulfil the requirements under the stateless person guide which she does not.

And thank you very much as well :D
