Likelihood of receiving restricted CoS for Tier 2 General ap

Hello,

I have agreed to terms with an employer and will now look to have them apply for a “restricted” Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) by the August 5th deadline for that month. The salary level will be 36K so the total number of points my application will have is 45 (the minimum is 32).

From your experience, what do you think the likelihood that the employer’s application for a “restricted” CoS for me will be successful? It appears there is a point cut-off below which applications are denied.

Also, is there any point in the employer re-applying the following month if the first application is not successful?

As long as the requirements are made for the RCOS to be applied for you will not lose out because other applications with greater scores will take the available spots.
There are far more RCOS places than there are applications in any one month.
