Tier 2 ICT - June 2010 - ILR

Hi,

Our Tier 2 ICT Visa was stamped on June 2010 and we entered UK in Mar 2011. Since then we have been continuously living in the UK till date ( 3 years 3 months).

1. Are we eligible for a ILR if we continue to stay with a Tier 2 ICT for another 2 years, in Mar 2016?
2. If Q1 above is not valid, if we change to Tier 2 General, are we eligible for ILR in Mar 2016?
3. If another company is willing to sponsor Tier 2 - General, can we change the visa while we stay in UK or should we go back to home country?
4. In case we go back to our Home country in Aug 2014, how many months break is allowed before we come back to UK so that our 3 yrs 3 months is also considered for the ILR?

1, 2 and 4. Your time under Tier2 (ICT) won't count towards ILR.

3. You can change in the UK, but unfortunately it seems your time on Tier 2 (General) will be limited to less than 3 years because of new rules, according to this at the top of the page.http://www.immigrationboards.com/uk-tie ... 62559.html
