**REFUND **Tier-1 General Dependent

Dear All,
I always feel that this is a place where anyone can get A class advice anytime.Today its my turn to ask for all your help.

I am in process of applying for my wifes Tier-1 general dependent application.On my wifes behalf I have filled her online application on 24.06.2014 and booked an appoinment for 07.07.2014. On the day of the appoinment she was been told by VFS(hyderabad) guys that for "TYPE OF VISA" question I have answered SETTLEMENT instead of Tier-1 General dependent visa. My wife was then been advised to fillin a new online applicatioin form and book new appoinment date and also mentioned that I would get a refund for that applicaiton as it was not submitted.As soon as I came to know I went online and requested for a refund by explaining a reason.
Now, I have filled new application form and booked new appoinment date.
Here are my questions based on my above situation,
1. How long will UKBA take to refund my application fees?
2. is there any way to track my money?like phone or call?
3. does it have any impact on the new applicaiton?
