do I need visa to travel to spain with wife ?

Hey everybody,

I am holding Tier 4 student visa ( studying in UK) and I am married to spanish citizen. we want to travel to spain but we do not know what to do !! do i need a visa if I travel with my wife to spain ?

You need to have a valid Schengen visa/EEA2 RC unless you are a non-visa national to Spain.

Thanks for ur info Dear Sheraz, in this case the marriage certificate means nothing, because even before getting married i was travelling with schengen visa. we really got distress with visa procedure , every time we travel i have to apply for visa.

Is there any solution ?

Airline company will not let you to board the flight unless you are a visa free national/having Schengen visa/having EEA2 RC & travelling together with EU partner. You should click on the previous post to read it in more detail.
