If you're applying for ILR as a spouse, you need to read through the list of documents required on form SET(M).
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas ... ormset(m)/

You can apply no earlier than 28 days before the 2nd anniversary of the date you first entered the UK on your spouse visa. No later than the expiry date.

Agree with above, look through other peoples success to list required documents.

Rather than reading other people's lists...follow the instructions on form SET(M). Your situation may differ.

If you don't pass the Life in the UK test in time you will have to apply for FLR.
The ILR application will be refused without KOL.

Congrats, In addition to Life in the UK test did you also pass English Language test in Speaking and Listening?

If you were given 27 months spouse visa and you travelled to UK within three months after after visa was issued. In this case you can apply for ILR within 28 days before expiry of visa of your visa.
