Application for change of conditions of leave to allow acces

Hi,

I became single parent recently and I have no one else to look after my children and I have to be with them at home at all times :( and due to this I can't work, gone into financial problems :cry: and I desperately need housing benefits.

I was granted leave to remain (10 years route) with the condition attached "No Recourse to Public Funds".

If I make an application for change of conditions of leave to allow access to public funds:

1) Will I get access to public funds?
2) What's the time-frame for such applications?
3) will it affect my future application for Further Leave to Remain FLR (FP)?
