Immigration to canada from uk

Hi all
I'm pakistani national with tier 1 entrepreneur (living in uk).
Actually I'm thinking to apply for Canadian immigration.
Shall I need a job offer or I can show some funds?
Is it possible to apply without a job?
If I get a job in canada then is it like tier 2 (where we have to work in one company only).
Can we work as self employed?
There are 100's of questions in my mind but at the moment I just need answer of these questions.

If you can arrange a job offer in canada, no cap is applied on your application and your application process will be simpler and faster. Without a job, you have to show 1 year work experience in one of the occupations set out in the 'list of shortages of occupations'. Along with many other requirements like english languages etc.
