New Tier 2 application and dependent visa

Hi,

I am planning to apply for my Tier 2 visa next month. can I apply for the dependent visa for my family along with me ?
OR I need to first get my Tier 2 visa and after that once I get my Tier 2 visa I should apply for dependent ?

Please advice, its urgent.

It's your choice. However, it may be sensible if they apply after you have succeeded. If you are refused, then they cannot succeed.
