Tier 2 ILR requirment for less then 35000 salary

Hi

It would be great if someone can clarify me as i been unclear on this rules.

I received Tier 2 general (NHS Registered general nurse) on June 2011, and the job is not on the shortage occupation list, and also the salary is only 25000. Will I be able to get ILR when I finish 5 Years by June 2016?

And also before getting tire 2, I was on dependent to HSMP tier 1 for 2 years from April 2009 till June 2011. Actually I have already finished 5 years last April but I was told that because of two different visas’ I lost my eligibility.

Please do advice me what could be the possible solution for me to get ILR.

You would need a minimum of £35000 annual salary ONLY at the time of applying for ILR, after 05 april 2016 (new rule coming into effect from 06 april 2016 onwards)...

But i will compleet my 5 years on Tier 2 on june
2016. New rule will become effect by the time.i will be short of two months. will that affect my case?

I don't know what you mean by this. Applications after 6 April, 2016 for ILR from a Tier 2 visa will require a salary of 35,000 when applying for ILR. The only exception I know of is if your job is a shortage occupation.

In case if we couldn't find the job with 35000 annual salary or the job in shortage occupation list. Is it possible me or my depend to apply for a student visa for 3 or more years to go for 10 years route.

Say for example if some one is getting 25000 for 4 years and he starts getting 35,000 in the final year and then he applies for ILR?
