Housing Register

Hi Experts

I currently hold ILR and my wife is on a dependent visa and have 2 kids one been born here.

Could i ask can i go on a housing register ? or will it create a problem when i go for my naturalization ( British passport)

Assuming you mean can you apply for a council house, if your wife and one of your children have no access to Public Funds you can only be considered as a single person with 1 child and be awarded housing accordingly. Otherwise, although it won't affect your BC application it may well cause problems when your wife applies for ILR.

Can 2.5 leave to Remain parent or couple with British Citizen Child be eligible to apply for Council house without any problem for their extention?

Could you please clarify?

The parent with limited leave can't be counted when the council house application is considered. You would have to advise the Council that two members of the family are subject to no access to Public Funds. I'm assuming your child born outside of the UK doesn't have ILR.
