Help About Being a Teacher in Scotland...

Post by kaizen54 » Sat Jul 26, 2014 5:13 pm

Hi all,
I am new to this forum and i have a question.

I am an English teacher in Turkey .I have been teaching for 8 years.
My wife is from Scotland and at the moment we are in Scotland for holiday .
I wonder if it is possible that i can be a teacher in Scotland ?
How does the process work? Whats should i do?

any answer would be appreciated :)
thanks.

Normal path I presume, first degree and PGCE certificate.

Not sure if a non-native English speaker could be accepted as an English Teacher though, not saying it isn't but the idea sounds wrong to me!
