Returning from India, less than 6 month passport validity!!

Hi

Currently I am on ILR and will be eligible to apply for naturalization in August end. But I have to travel to India in December, for that reason I am thinking to apply in November through NCS so that I can travel to India with my Indian passport.

Problem is my Indian passport is expiring in May end and I am returning in January on return date my passport is valid for less than 6 months.

I want to know,
Is there any requirement of having minimum 6 month passport validity for traveling back to UK from India? As I don't see any use of renewing and surrendering it later after naturalization.

I search but I didn't find any information on it. Could anyone provide any reference on official site or share his/her experience.

there is no such min validity requirement - all you need is a valid passport for travel.
