Short term accomodation for spouse visa

Hi,

Would a short-term rental accommodation (3-4 months) will be sufficient for immigration purposes (spouse visa), providing it is not overcrowded and adequate?
We are relocating from Russia. We are planning to buy a property but looking for one from Russia is a pointless exercise.

So the plan is to find a property once we are in the country.

My major concern is whether a short-term rental arrangement will be accepted?

Any advise or suggestions are very welcome.

But what if we arrange something via Airbnb or holiday lettings and prepay for 3-4 months? This is much easier to find and arrange then any other type of short term lettings.

Had to bring this back up.

Would an accommodation arranged via Airbnb or Holiday lettings and prepaid for 3-4 months be acceptable for settlement application. Or one needs to have a signed short-hold tenancy agreement for x number of months?
