Dear All,
Greetings. I have some questions regarding switching to Tier 2 General, would very appreciate if anyone can advise me.
I came in 2008 doing MA in Management (my university ranking at top 5 in the league), completed the course on Tier 4.
First student visa was from June 2008 until Feb/March 2010
(congregation/graduation ceremony was Jan 2010) (courses finished in September 2008)
Afterwards got PSW from March 2010 until March 2012.
With academic progression, I started ACCA with highly trusted sponsor (a university),
registered for all 14 paper as equivalent to Master degree, from PSW switched to Tier 4 again.
Current Tier 4 student visa expires in Dec 2014. Now is part-qualified ACCA and almost finishing all papers.
I have got job offer from one of the Big 4 and therefore would have to apply to switch to Tier 2 General soon.
It is expected their immigration team should be contacting me within this month for documents.
The visa fee will also be supported by the company.
From what I read on UKBA, I am very worried that, based on my current student visa,
I may not be granted a Tier 2 General, as it seems like - it has to be Bachelor/Master/PhD for 12 months at least student visa to be able to switch?
It is my dream job and the service line I so much am interested in, would be very gutted if being rejected purely because I am on student visa of ACCA. Have spoken with some people and have been told that I had MA here before so it would be fine regardless my current ACCA.
Can anyone please kindly advise me whether I would be getting Tier 2 General?
In addition, is there anything I should be paying attention to (fund/bank statement/documents/etc)?
Your kind feedback will be highly appreciated.
Thanks and Best Regards.
