Applying ILR for Child born here

Post by shamresham » Wed Aug 06, 2014 8:40 pm

Hi,

I am applying for my ILR in next month(08/09/2014) with my family and my current Tier2 ICT visa will be expiring on 13/09/2014. My daughter has born here and will be having the same visa end-date (13/09/2014) and i am planning is to apply directly for Passport/Naturalization for my daughter as she is born here.
My question is after applying for my ILR on (08/09/2014) hopefully i will be receiving the ILR card in a week's time so once i received it (suppose if i recieves on 16/09/2014) by the time my daughter's visa would be expired.

Can i still apply for Passport/Naturalization for my daughter or not as the visa would have been expired.

Regards,
Sham

A registration under section 1(3) doesn't require valid leave, your child's status is irrelevant.
