Hi there,
I've got my PEO coming up at the end of August for ILR, following up on my spousal visa (following my post-study work visa, university, etc.).
I cannot for the life of me remember how we handled this last time, and while I always save a lot of docs, I don't have a copy of my completed application form from last time.
So we've got my partner's (British citizen) pay slips and he earns more than enough (especially as we're pre-July 2012 rules). But the wording says, "Recent bank account statements AND pay slips evidencing employment..." I misread this as "OR."
So that means it's mandatory we show his bank statements as well as pay slips, I assume? The problem we encountered last time is that his particular bank prints "DUPLICATE" on ordered statements (he's set up as paperless). So will the Home Office accept these, despite having "DUPLICATE" written on them? Even though they won't be ATM printouts or photocopies as such, do we still need to have them stamped and signed?
After about visa #5 or #6, I'm definitely getting ready to be done with all this. Thanks for any help.
