SOC CODE ADVICE - COnfusing

Hi ALL Kindly HELP ME !!
I have been offerd a position as Manufacturing engineer - Comapny is about to submit their License Application and once after approval would proceed with my application.

However the confusion I have is after going through may posts and replies in this great forum I am in dilemma.

My offerd job Title is Manufacturing engineer which me and my company believes is 2126( NVQ 6) but the title is not listed in this category and causing more confusion I found similar title in NVQ4 category.

Manufacturing engineer the Job duties and deliverables matches exactly as mentioned in 2126, I spoke to my empoloyer and they says its just the title but the duties are indicating towards 2126 hence need not to worry.,

As SOC code are very confusing and my employer is very new to this I am worried if UKVI would reject this .

Any Help is deeply appreciated please help as I would proceed to application very soon.

your prospective sponsor is right, if the job description matches the SOC code 2126 description then the CoS should be assigned using this SOC code. The job title is something that the company chooses and wouldn't have significance in this case.

2126 Design and development engineers

Example job tasks:

 assesses product requirements, including costs, manufacturing feasibility and market
requirements;
 prepares working designs for steam, aero, turbine, marine and electrical engines, mechanical
instruments, aircraft and missile structures, vehicle and ship structures, plant and machinery
equipment, domestic electrical Spam, building systems and services, and electronic
computing and telecommunications equipment;
 arranges construction and testing of model or prototype and modifies design if necessary;
 produces final design information for use in preparation of layouts, parts lists, etc.;
 prepares specifications for materials and other components.

Salary rates: New entrant: £22,600 / Experienced: £29,900

Yes i agree you totally and is proceeding with my application, however the job title is not in the related titles, but am not worrying about this as me and my employer knows about the job and duties more than HO,
