A Little Help Please

Post by MrsFam » Thu Aug 14, 2014 1:28 pm

Hi
My husband is Nigerian and I am Britich he was granted DLR in December 2011, it expires at the end of November. Am I correct that we need to use form FLR (O)? Do we tick the other box?

Would you suggest we would be better off using a solicitor or is it easy enough to just do it ourselves.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Yes an extension of DLR is on FLR(O). What was your spouse's status before DLR?

Hi

He came over as a student and then due to an error on the form when he tried to renew he had to send it in again and the rules changed and he was no longer eligable. He overstayed and then we applied as a spouse which was denied but he was granted DLR.

Ok, then another 3 years DLR is required for settlement. FLR(O) is the form you need.
