calling husband over

Post by markhan » Sat Aug 16, 2014 7:46 pm

Hi
i am currently a student in the UK, recently got married in Pakistan, am a British citizen and would like to gather some information whether there is any way that i can be calling my husband over. I have tried searching the UKBA website but may be i am not looking in the right areas. Just want to know that normally if you are not a student one has to be working with atleast 18K a year, is there any way that a British student who is not currently working to call her husband over to the UK and what are the requirements if that is possible in any case.
thank
help as soon as would be much appreciated.

I doubt that applies with a maintenance loan as not a grant! not to mention I'd be insufficient if the one given by Student Finance. Do you receive any benefits or have savings?

If it is based on saving you'll probably need £62,500, which must be in your account for more than six months before the application date.

That won't count, you need to have either £62,500 of your own money in the bank or earn £18,600 p/a or a combination of both.
