Hope this message finds you all well. I'm a British citizen and my wife is a Sri Lankan national. We applied for her visitor visa in Dec 2013, got refused, applied for spousal visa this year and it's been granted. This would be her first ever visit to the UK.
I live in Nottingham. I'll be flying to SL to fetch her. On our way back, our plan is to visit Paris (yes, she also has got Schengen visa) and then arrive at East Midlands Airport (Nottingham).
My question....whould the immigration officer refuse her entry at the airport, for not taking international airports such as Heathrow, Birmingham, Manchester etc??
Any advice on this would be much appreciated
