Time taken for assigning August 2014 restricted Cos

Hi

On Aug 11 my employer has confirmed that ukba has granted the restricted Cos. But till now I haven't received the cos copy.

Can any help me understand if this is normal where in employer has been informed about cos being granted but employer still waiting for the Cos to be assigned

Also as a general observation the allocation page of UK is not updated so far for the august month.whereas they have updated for other months within 4- 5 days.does any one have an idea if there is a delay from ukba front ?

Once the restricted CoS is approved by UKBA, it is upto the employer to assign it. They need to do it using the SMS. I'm not sure that your employer is referring here. However, sometimes it takes time to get the approved status updated on the system. Maybe that's the case.

It will take 5 minutes to assign CoS. Maybe your company is doing background checks of job!

Finally got my assigned Cos.. The delay was from the employer legal team who has been delayinig in providing the necessary approvals.

After numerous followup , got it today
