Marriage

Post by leo1 » Tue Aug 14, 2007 6:25 pm

I have recently married my African Fiance who has overstayed for one and a half years, the ceremony was Church of England.
We want to know when we go back to Zimbabwe to apply for spouse visa will the Home Office accept our marriage as legal as we married when he overstayed?

Immigration status in the UK does not in itself affect the validity of a marriage.
