I thought there was an appeal pending.

Why new application?

Because appeal is taking too much time and I am not sure I will win. So I am going for new application and not withdrawing appeal. The appeal will cardy on until its decision. Please Obie please tell me the answer of my above question..

Submit something to prove contact/ongoing relationship for every 6 months or so, going as far back as you can.

Yes. It's a fresh application so they will expect you to provide everything even if they have seen it previously.

Dear Friends

I would like to get your comments as per your experience
I have applied for my wife settlement visa in India in April 2014 they have called her for interview on first week of july 2014, since then there is no further update, they are saying it is upheld for further investigation.
any one knows what sort of further investigation they will do, and how long will it take
many thanks

Please don't high jack another member's thread. You need to start your own as you'll be unlikely to get an answer in this one.

SoHopeful has given you good advice. You need to re-submit the documented evidence as this is new application.

And just to add, if an ECO has retained any document you think is necessary to your application, you have the right to request it, or inform them of the fact that they have possession of it during the application process.

Try not to open many threads. It is unacceptable and counterproductive. Stay on one thread.

Me and my colleagues have advised you on this matter, especially the Section 85 , the Category B and the documents issue. I have sent you the link on document you have to provide.

We have said that earnings over 12 months can be aggregated for Cat B.

I advised you of the new rules on appeal that came in place on 28th July for new applications, and the fact that Entry clearance applicants may not have a right to appeal again, but rather an Administrative review.

I have messaged you to advise you to desist posting on these same issue.

If you continue, I may have to conclude that this thread ought to be closed.
