Spousal Visa: 2 Jobs

Post by omarinbox » Sat Aug 23, 2014 3:11 am

I'm working two jobs to meet the income requirement. The second one I only just started a month ago.

The first has been since December.

I was only a few hundred bucks short of the minimum income requirement until I got the other job and now I am over the threshold.

I've been looking at the UKBA legal paperwork in detail now though and it seems I come under Category B for this and have to evidence my work for 12 months.

Is there another way?

Can't I just evidence the two jobs with the paperwork I have?

Or do I now have to wait until December to submit?

For cat A,the rule says "you must have been in the employment for 6 months, even though you can combine jobs for cat A,you wouldn't meet the 6 months test for the second job.
For cat B,you must have been employed and earn the income in the past 12 months,as you started in December, that test isn't met either.
The solution is to wait for whichever comes first,d 6 months or 12. Except you add your income from December, with the second job and you have 18600.
