Tier2 ICT Short Term Staff Partner. Can I search for a job?

Hello All,

My wife will be traveling to UK on a Tier2 ICT Short Term Staff Migrant visa for 1 year with a possibility of extension to long term. Her company (A rated sponsor) has sponsored my visa also and I have been issued Tier2 ICT Short Term Staff Partner visa. Visa validity is upto Aug, 2015.

Observation section in wife's visa : 'CoS Number' and following comment 'No recourse to public funds'
Observation section in my visa : 'CoS Number Wife name' and following comment 'No recourse to public funds'

Now, I have resigned from my current company in India and would be traveling to UK in Sept, 2014.

Following is my questions and queries:

1. My wife would be traveling end of August and I will be traveling in Sept, any specific documents should I carry
2. Can I work with Staff Partner visa
3. Can I search for a Job once I arrive in UK and will my current visa sufficient
4. Or, should I ensure that I already have a job before arriving in UK
5. Any other information which you think would help me

No. Keep her stamped visa scan copy & contract letter just in case.

2. Can I work with Staff Partner visa
Yes.

3. Can I search for a Job once I arrive in UK and will my current visa sufficient
Yes.

4. Or, should I ensure that I already have a job before arriving in UK
Nope.

5. Any other information which you think would help me
