FLR(M) Six items of correspondence

Post by Ineedyouradvice » Mon Aug 25, 2014 9:56 pm

Hello,

I have recently got ILR and will be getting married to my fiancee who is on Tier 2 visa. We will be living together after our marriage and would be applying for her partner visa FLR(M) a few weeks after the marriage. Within the few weeks times between marriage and date of visa application, we wont be able to have 6 items of correspondence addressed to myself and my wife at the same address. I would be able to have my tenancy agreement updated to include my wife's name in it immediately after my marriage.

Its says in the form that if your unable to provide 6 items of correspondence then give an explanation on a separate sheet.

Does anyone have any experience in this regard?

Thank you!

I checked some other blogs and it seems that 6 items of correspondence under FLR(m) category are required to be provided by unmarried partners or married couples who have completed 2 years under FLR(M) category and are now applying for extension.

My wife will be applying for spouse visa under FLR(M) for the first time so I beleive that this requirmeent of 6 items of correspondence is not applicable in my case.

Could anyone please confirm if I am correct in my understanding.

Thanks!

You are correct. You should however submit evidence of a genuine relationship...wedding photos, photos during your time together, contact info etc.

Thank you Casa!

We will be getting our marriage registered in UK.

We will provide our marriage certificate, tenancy agreement with my spose name included in it and photographs to support my application.

Thank you again!
