Tier 2 to Tier 1

Hi,


I am currently on tier 2 visa working for a telecom company I would like to leave this job and work as a contractor for different companies for which I have to have my own visa as I can not work for some one else on my current tier 2 visa.

Before tier 2 I was on PSW visa can I apply for tier 1 Entrepreneur visa showing 50 k (as I had PSW before Tier 2 )

If not is there any way I can go on my personal visa? As in telecom all jobs are for contracting no one is ready to offer a permanent job and sponsorship

Any suggestion will be appreciated

Umbrella companies will be helpful in your case, Your telecom company will sign a contract with that umbrella company and will offer you a fulltime job. But Visa will be Tier 2 again :) - Immigration consultants can help you to find more information.

Is it like umbrella company will give me tier 2 visa and I can find job then?

You can apply to T1E with £50K route if you still hold valid not expired PSW visa.
